BEYOND MEASURE
"OUR DEEPEST IS NOT THAT WE ARE INADEQUATE.
OUR DEEPEST FEAR IS THAT WE ARE POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE. IT IS OUR LIGHT, NOT OUR DARKNESS, THAT MOST FRIGHTENS US.
WE ASK OURSELVES: WHO AM I TO BE BRILLIANT, GORGEOUS, TALENTED, FABULOUS? ACTUALLY, WHO ARE YOU NOT TO BE?
YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. YOUR PLAYING SMALL DOES NOT SERVE THE WORLD.THERE IS NOTHING ENLIGHTENED ABOUT SHRINKING SO THAT OTHER PEOPLE WON'T FEEL INSECURE AROUND YOU. WE ARE ALL MEANT TO SHINE, AS CHILDREN DO.
WE WERE BORN TO MAKE MANIFEST THE GLORY OF GOD IN US. IT'S NOT JUST SOME OF US. IT'S IN EVERYONE.
AND AS WE LET OUR LIGHT SHINE, WE UNCONSCIOUSLY GIVE OTHER PEOPLE PERMISSION TO DO THE SAME. AS WE ARE LIBERATED FROM OUR OWN FEAR, OUR PRESENCE AUTOMATICALLY LIBERATES OTHERS"

Broken Down and Rebuilt Afresh
However, I realized it is not only time again but I also have something to share. I have something to share that brings all the glory to God and that is what it is all about.
For the past weeks, I have been struggling with lies about myself and my life. I won't go into detail but anyone out there who understands how destructive the lies of the enemy are will understand the depth of pain I found myself in. Of course, I did not want to face it for a while because pain is never nice to face. 2 weeks ago, I realized I needed to look at the stuff and bring it to the arms of the Father.
What I found and looked at was very hurtful.
On one of my walks I found a picture that kind of shows how I felt.
Broken Down - the bench that used to be there is broken and hardly recognizable. That is how I felt. But through the course of last week, I let Jesus in to have a look at that wound that seemed to start throbbing. It was not easy and more of a really deep valley but walking THROUGH it is worth it. Walking around it just to avoid the pain may seem easy at first glance and it may be nice BUT ONLY TEMPORAY. Walking though the valley, held and guided, makes all the difference because that is how He rebuilds and strengthens. And that is what happened last week. By the end of the week, I realized how God had strengthened me, encouraged me and burst away the lies from the enemy.
On Sunday He showed me this picture: clear and real:
The bench...it was rebuilt and was standing empowered and strong.
I know that my strength is in Jesus and Jesus alone. I understand so much more now and I can say that my faith has grown. Thank You God
Your faithful park bench Sonnenschein
