BEYOND MEASURE

WE WERE BORN TO MAKE MANIFEST THE GLORY OF GOD IN US. IT'S NOT JUST SOME OF US. IT'S IN EVERYONE.
AND AS WE LET OUR LIGHT SHINE, WE UNCONSCIOUSLY GIVE OTHER PEOPLE PERMISSION TO DO THE SAME. AS WE ARE LIBERATED FROM OUR OWN FEAR, OUR PRESENCE AUTOMATICALLY LIBERATES OTHERS"

My coat of many colors

This week I got a very unique present and I want to tell you about it. I call it:

MY COAT OF MANY COLORS and it reminds me of the blessing that it was to Joseph in the Bible. It is a blessing to me, too.

One morning I came in to do the mail at East Hill and Karen from staff awaited me at the door. Totally excited, she pulled me aside and said: "Ok, this might seem weird but I've had this coat from my great grand mother. Every time I wore it, I felt this was not for me to wear! So I stopped wearing it asking God: well whose is it then to wear my Lord?"

The day before I had shown her one of my pieces of art, a watercolor picture of a Lighthouse in Greece, and she was really amazed and asked me a lot of questions and I told her my story how I came to the States and how God convinced my fearful heart to risk and come to East Hill which had had a prophecy of being a Lighthouse to the nations.

That morning Karen told me: "Kerstin, at that moment I knew that this was to be your coat so here it is!" She showed it to me and it was a coat with lots and lots of lighthouses on it!!!! My heart leaped. I have worn it ever since, it is I guess two sizes too big but I feel so alive in it, it is amazing.

This is my coat of many colors!
