Last week, I joined a group from our church plant in Frankfurt to go to a national foursquare conference in the Netherlands. My heart was so encouraged and full of joy for I met dear friends from the States there: the pastor that led me through my first 2 years as an intern in Gresham/Portland DAN RUSSEL and my pastors and the ones who sent me out as a missionary: TED and DIANE ROBERTS.
How wonderful to welcome them on European ground this time. The theme of the 3 day conference was: Let it show - I am so thankful to God that HE gave us Germans such a good fellowship, such good talks and wonderful prayer times for each other. It kind of felt like the fellowship of the ring in a way.
I experienced huge intimidation internally about my call during that time. I felt like a female Timothy thinking that I am too young or too inexperienced to go and do what God is calling me to. I received new encouragement from the throne room from God himself. I really needed that time away at that conference. It was a last minute decision but such a good one: a breath of fresh air AND no more intimidation (I know it'll come but I also know that I am a princess of the most HIGH GOD and HE has made me more than a conqueror!)

What a special reunion and sweet pictures! Isn't it good to see these people and realize how far you have come in your process. I think it's going to be incredible when I revisit Brasil and when I finally get moved over to Europe - so much is changing and though it takes longer than I would have chosen, longer means more growth.
I love going to good conferences like that - I get so inspired and encouraged and meet such interesting people. It's a blessing to have one or two of those a year if you can find a "watering hole" to return to again and again. I'm still looking for mine...
